We
had an opportunity to present The 15th International Shiatsu Conference
in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Canadian Shiatsu
Society of British Columbia and the Canadian College of Shiatsu
Therapy. On the second day of the conference, Free Shiatsu Seminar was
held at the UBC, with over 100 Shiatsu practitioners and massage
therapists from all over the world, and more than 150 local
participants. Hiroshi Kanda Sensei, instructor of Japan Shiatsu College
instructed "Shiatsu Foundation" which included the history of Shiatsu,
elemental differences between massage and Shiatsu, and the advantages
of Shiatsu.
