We
had an opportunity to present The 15th International Shiatsu Conference
in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Canadian Shiatsu
Society of British Columbia and the Canadian College of Shiatsu
Therapy. On the second day of the conference, a clinical Shiatsu
Workshop for Shiatsupractors was held at UBC. Fumihiko Indei
Sensei, an international Shiatsu instructor and the Principal of Aisen
Shiatsu School of Hawaii gave a lecture and demonstration on frozen
shoulder and arms to 50 Shiatsupractors from all over the world. All the participants were deeply impressed with his humorous speech and
dedicated coaching for practical skills and techniques built on his long
experience overseas. His wife assisted by politely translating into English. It
was a fruitful worship for participating Shiatsupractors.

シュコロンビア州立大学において、有資格者向けの臨床指圧講習会が開催されました。世界各国から50名を超える指圧師及びその他のマッサージセラピストが
集まったこの講習会では、国際指圧インストラクターでハワイ愛泉指圧学校校長因泥文彦先生を講師にお招きし、「五十肩と腕の指圧」と題する実技指導が行わ
れました。因泥先生の、ユーモアあふれる話術に加え、その説明を丁寧かつ簡潔に通訳してくださる奥様、また長年海外で培われた技術や経験を解りやすくかつ熱心に指導してくださるそのお姿に、参加一同深い感銘を受けていました。プロの指圧師にとって、大変実のある講習となりました。
